Our principles
No advertising, no tracking or analytics cookies, no selling or renting of your data. We process personal data only where the law allows it and only for the purposes described below.
Hosting and server logs
Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you visit, technically necessary data is processed — such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested and browser information — to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Join and partnership forms
When you join our list, register interest or request membership, we process the details you enter — name, email, role, interests, organization (if given) and preferred language. Submissions are received through Netlify Forms. We use them to reply to you and to send the updates you asked for. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Member and admin accounts
When the member area is active, we process the account data needed to provide it: name, email, organization, login credentials (stored only in hashed form), and activity such as course enrolments, event registrations and certificates. Administrator access is by invitation only and admin actions are logged for security. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Browser storage and cookies

Fonts and external content
All fonts are hosted on our own server. Visiting ai4cg.org does not connect your browser to Google Fonts or other third-party font or tracking services.
Recipients and international transfers
We use carefully selected service providers (such as hosting and email delivery) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Some are located in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
Mailing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Account data is kept for as long as your membership is active and then deleted, unless statutory retention periods apply. Server logs are kept only as long as necessary for security purposes under our host's retention settings.
